Winterhouse always wants to give back to the community. There are two charities that are very close to owner, Michael Penta. They are Ted Lindeman Outreach Foundation.
Mike & his wife Melisa have a son, Cooper. Cooper has cerebral palsy and has benefited greatly from Easter Seals of Southeastern Pennsylvania. Easter Seals has been helping people with special needs and their families for almost 90 years. They provide a variety of services including childhood development centers, physical rehabilitation and job training for people with disabilities. Their entire focus is to help people with disabilities of all kinds to address life’s challenges and achieve personal goals.
Mike & Melisa had a dear friend, Ted Lindeman, that passed away from cancer at 33. He left behind a wife and two young children. His wife went on to create the Ted Lindeman Outreach Foundation to help families that are in the same situation. They have events throughout the year that Winterhouse donates items to help raise money for families.
Mike & Melisa are very passionate about giving back to those that have been there for them. In these economic times, the charities suffer and it’s up to all of us not to forget about them.
